COVID-19 Information

Unfortunately, due to the continuously changing measures, the costs involved reacting to them and the hugely adverse impact of the most recent measures, taking effect from Monday 14th December, we regretfully announce we will again have to close our restaurant & bar doors until further notice once again.

 

As much as we would like to continue to offer the safe environment we have created & invested in for you our customers to enjoy, the restrictions just do not allow us to viably do so.

 

We sincerely wish all our customers a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year as we fear we are unlikely to be able to be allowed or viably re-open until sometime in the new year.

COVID-19 Compliance

 

We are fully compliance with the ever changing rules are regulations regarding COVID-19 and have been inspected by the local police, Carmarthenshire Environmental Health and Licensing Officers.

 

NHS TEST AND TRACE

From 24th September the NHS Test and Trace poster will be displayed at all entrances and other public areas. If you have the NHS COVID-19 app you can quickly and easily ‘check in’ by scanning the QR code. If you do not have the App, we will be asking every guest (not just the lead guest) to leave their details so that we can submit these to NHS Test and Trace. If you plan on downloading the app whilst here please could you make sure this is done before retiring for the evening or before any food and drink orders are taken. The guidance is if there is more than one person in a booking, then you can record the name of the ‘lead member’ of the group (of up to 6 people) and the number of people in that group.

 

SOCIAL DISTANCING

All guests we will need to practice social distancing, with other guests and our team members. Face coverings have now become mandatory whilst indoors (except whilst eating of course) and we are following Government guidelines for gatherings of a maximum of 6, and we ask and trust that our guests will also adhere to these guidelines. Please bring your own face covering with you before for your booking, but we will have some disposable masks available at reception if you forget. Our teams will also be wearing face coverings in all public areas.

 

ONE-WAY SYSTEMS

You may enter/exit the building via the front door.  Once inside please following the one-way system around the building.

 

CLEANING & HYGIENE

Cleanliness and hygiene is always a priority for us. We have fitted sanitation stations throughout the hotel and encourage guests to use them throughout their stay. Touch points in communal areas will be cleaned regularly by team members. To reduce contact, we have also reduced room housekeeping.  We will only service rooms for guests staying multiple nights on request – Please be aware the room must be vacated and windows open for at least 1hr. 

 

ACCOMMODATION

 

Our on-line booking system is operational should you wish to make a reservation. We will be posting some great incentives to come and visit our hotels over the Autumn months.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

Hotel bookings can be cancelled or transferred up to 48hrs prior to arrival with no charge. If you need to cancel or amend your booking within 48hrs of arrival due to COVID-19, we can transfer your booking to another suitable date, however rates may differ between dates. Any cancellations or amendments within 48hrs, that are not as a direct result of COVID-19, will result in our retaining the charge for the first night of your stay. If we are forced to close a hotel/hotels due to COVID-19 bookings can be transferred or cancelled at no charge.

 

PRE-ARRIVAL

We will ask all guests to complete an online check in system and require all guests to be in good health and absent of any Coronavirus symptoms. 

 

FOOD

 

Throughout the botel, bars and dining rooms are now open subject to social distancing and again we are trying to spread the bookings as best we can. The outside areas are also available for al fresco dining.  In line with Government guidance we will only be offering table service for both the dining rooms . This also applies across our other communal areas, including the bar.

 

CAN I USE A GIFT VOUCHER?

 

We have extended the validity of all Gift Vouchers that expired whilst we are closed, or that are due to expire later this year so that you are still able to use them

 

All Gift Vouchers that expired in April, May, June or July 2020 have been extended by 6 months from date of issue

 

All Gift Vouchers due to expire in August, September, October, November or December 2020 have been extended by 3 months from date of issue

 

FINALLY

We have been amazed and humbled at the really positive response from customers since we reopened. We were initially a little apprehensive opening after such a time, nevertheless the sun has been shining, the team were buzzing and the guests so happy to be out again. We thank you so much for your support it really is appreciated.
