The Castle is situated in the beautiful Towy Valley, on the Western fringes of the outstanding Brecon Beacons National Park (there are 520 square miles of it). It's the ideal base for those who wish participate in the many outdoor, sporting and venture activities the area has to offer.
Well known as an area for Welsh mystic culture steeped in a rich history, Llandovery is surrounded by three rivers, the Towy, the Bran, and the Gwydderig. Today it’s a buzzing market town that still has a strong medieval feel.
With the beautiful Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire coastlines nearby and the Brecon Beacons National Park next door, there are an unlimited number of places to explore.
