** COVID-19 UPDATE **
Following Welsh Government guidelines, the hotel will provisionally open for accommodation from the 20th July 2020.
Under current government restrictions, there will be no access permitted to leisure facilities such as the restaurant or bar. We will monitor Welsh Government instructions and open these facilities as and when we are allowed.
We will be offering “restaurant in your room” dinning experiences, offered as a contactless experience, with trays delivered and collected from outside guest rooms for both breakfast and dinner.
Pre-arrival, we will ask all guests to complete an online check in system and require all guests to be in good health and absent of any Coronavirus symptoms.
Any new bookings made for arrivals until 30th September 2020, can be changed or cancelled without charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival. If we are forced to close/partially close due to enhanced Government restrictions, due to COVID-19 bookings can be transferred or cancelled at no charge.
All guests we will need to practice social distancing at all times, with other guests and our team members.
Cleaning & Hygiene
Cleanliness and hygiene is always a priority for us. We have fitted sanitation stations throughout the hotel and encourage guests to use them throughout their stay. Touch points in communal areas will be cleaned regularly by team members.
All gift vouchers that were due to expire in April, May, June & July have automatically been extended by 6 months.
All gift vouchers due to expire August, September and October will be extended by a further 3 months.

The Castle Hotel is located in the quaint market town of Llandovery on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains is the perfect base for exploring and enjoying the beautiful heartland of Wales.
The original rustic charm and character is still there, but we’ve added a few modern, fresh ideas.
