We’re owned by chefs, so it’s no surprise that fantastic food is our number one priority, our first love, our big thing. Sean Gerrard, along with his talented team of chefs here develop the Castle menus to fully embrace the Taste Inn Wales ethos – seasonal, fresh, hearty and tasty. The menus are inspired by tradition, created with imagination to appeal to the most ardent fans of modern British food.
At the Castle we are firm believers in relaxed, unpretentious dining, open all year round for lunch and dinner. Everyone is welcome here. The focus is on the food, the atmosphere and making people feel right at home.
It goes without saying that all our dishes are made from scratch and cooked to order. We have a highly motivated, hard working team and a wonderfully spacious kitchen. We believe in offering plenty of choice – Carmarthenshire is the garden of Wales after all.
We also have a daily chalk board where we highlight fresh fish and shellfish. During the autumn and winter months it also tends to feature local game and some seriously good pies and casseroles.
Our menu is quintessentially British. We believe in simple, unfussy food and use the local larder and seasonal produce properly. We are open every day for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Our Breakfast menu is available daily for both hotel guests and non-residents.
